He was going to be executed but he pleaded that it would be too difficult for his family to survive without him. I didn't know that this book had been written. My ancestor Shakespeare's's mutiny inspired Tempest!

Yes, I know he was a troublemaker. He and his family came over on the Mayflower later and he was constantly getting into arguments.
